What Is a Quoridor Variant?
A variant keeps the heart of Quoridor: on your turn you either move your pawn or place a wall, and you may never close off every route to the goal. What changes is the setup, such as the size of the board, where the pawns start and where they are heading.
If you are new to walls and pawns, start with the classic game. The variants are easier to enjoy once you know how a wall bends a route.

What are Quoridor variants?
Quoridor variants are different ways to play the Quoridor board game: a new board size, a different starting position, more players or custom rules. Wallrush, Pointrush and Custom Quoridor keep the pawns, walls and path rule of the classic game.
Can I play Quoridor with 3 or 4 players?
Yes. Pointrush is a Quoridor variant for two, three or four players, on one device or online with invited friends, where every pawn races to the square in the center of the board.
Can I change the board size or the number of walls in Quoridor?
Yes. Custom Quoridor lets you choose a board from 5 × 5 to 13 × 13, from 0 to 30 walls per player, borrowed moves and the time per move.
Are the Quoridor variants free to play?
Yes. All variants are free in your browser, with no download and no account.
Can I play a Quoridor variant online with friends?
Yes. On the Wallrush, Pointrush or Custom Quoridor page choose "With invited friends", create a private room and send your friends the invitation link or pairing code. Everyone plays on their own device, and the game starts as soon as all the seats are taken.
