Difficulty

Easy (selected)
Good for learning the rules. Makes mistakes on purpose: it wanders and places walls without much of a plan.

Medium (selected)
A relaxed game for players who know the basics. Takes sensible steps and blocks you when a wall clearly pays off, but doesn't plan ahead.

Hard (selected)
Looks two moves ahead (its move and your reply) and places walls deliberately. Expect a real challenge.

Expert (selected)
The strongest level we offer. Searches several moves deeper, taking up to about a second per move, so it can feel slower to answer.

You move first, as the cyan filled pawn, from the bottom edge. The robot plays on your device; nothing is sent anywhere. In our own test games (20 per pairing, robots against robots) each level beat the one below it at least 16 times out of 20.
